Illinois Wesleyan women's golfer Megan Geraghty finished tied for 22nd in the 2013 NCAA Division III national championships, a steady progression of success over the past three seasons - in 2012 she tied for 66th and in 2011 she tied for 88th in the national tournament.
She tied for sixth at the 2012 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin championships to earn all-conference honors and shot her career-low round of 75 in the second round of the 2013 IWU Spring Fling at Normal's Ironwood Golf Course.
A graduate with a degree in business administration (marketing), she is the daughter of Dan and Diane Geraghty.

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Giving up a lot of weekends

Worst habit: Over committing

Most expensive traffic ticket: i think $100 for speeding on I-55

Language I’d like to learn: Chinese

The longest I could survive without my cell phone: Probably a couple of days, i dont miss it that much

One word your mother or father would use to describe you: Outgoing

Favorite sports figure: Jack Nicklaus

My greatest moment in sports was: When we took third place at the NCAA national championships

The best player I ever faced was: While at Wesleyan, it was Paige Caldwell of Methodist

Worst dresser on my team: We're all pretty sharp dressers, but Rose Kelly's Minnesota Twins hat is the worst

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Dino Nuggets they were 10 for 10 bucks, but I never ate them

Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Adam Scott (the golfer)

Favorite food: Steak

Vegetable I won’t eat: Cauliflower

Pepsi or Coke? Coke

Favorite TV show: Hands down, "The Office"

Favorite musical group: The Goo Goo Dolls

Favorite movie: "Shawshank Redemption"

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: Emma Stone, she is the best

If my life were on TV as a reality show, I’d call it: "True Life: My Life Isn't All That Interesting"

The person in history I would most like to meet is: Mother Teresa

My dream job would be: Working for Titleist or Nike

Place I’d most like to live: Anywhere warmer than Illinois

Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Swim with dolphins and play Augusta National Golf Course

My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: Probably my R11s driver, but I would never sell it

Who is the luckiest person in the world? Coach Kathy Niepagen, she wins everything

What I miss most about being in the third grade: No one judges you for taking naps ... naps are great!
