As a sophomore he was chosen to the Division III PING all-Central Region team and finished fourth in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin championships.
He has played for the Titans for eight seasons - his high school, Glenbrook South, is also named the Titans.
A history major at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Janet and Jim Reese.

Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: My friend and teammate Ryan Dorner, who was a year ahead of me in high school suggested Illinois Wesleyan. The rest is history.

IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: I don’t think I should be teaching class, but maybe some sort of intro history class.

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Time management, it’s very easy to procrastinate school work when you are in the business of winning tournaments.

Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? I plead the fifth.

I’m deathly afraid of ... :  Well, I have never been a big fan of heights.

Worst habit: I tend to put off doing laundry for as long as possible, sometimes a pretty questionable call.

Most expensive traffic ticket:  I got one driving down I-55 that ended up costing me $350…I used to think I was Jeff Gordon

Language I’d like to learn: One of the ones that replaces words with clicking sounds.

The longest I could survive without my cell phone: I could definitely go a long time, but I would probably never know what time it is.

Your usual response to “What’s going on?”: “Not much, brotha”

Favorite sports figure: Tiger Woods, he can golf his ball.

My greatest moment in sports was:  Walking through the Atlanta airport last year with my team with a big NCAA trophy, a guy made us pose for a picture.  That was way cooler than any tournament ive ever won on my own.

The best player I ever faced was:  I would say Bennett Blakeman, who was a senior at IWU my freshman year.  He can play.

Worst dresser on my team:  I hate to throw him under the bus but its gotta be Stefan Johnson.  Pants are meant to have belt-loops, its just a fact.

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Our fridge game is proper, so its usually pretty clean.

Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Not sure.

Favorite food: My mom has command of the kitchen, I will gladly eat anything she makes.  If I had to pick it would probably be her pasta sauce.

Vegetable I won’t eat: I will eat anything, but eggplant is a little sketchy.

Pepsi or Coke?: Coke from McDonalds.  Pepsi is just not American.

Favorite TV show: "Franklin and Bash", those guys are funny.

Favorite musical group: I go through phases but I would never turn of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. So funky.

Favorite movie: "Gone in 60 Seconds" is a classic.

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me:  Brad Pitt

The person in history I would most like to meet is: Ben Hogan or Teddy Roosevelt.

My dream job would be: Pro golfer

Place I’d most like to live: Arizona or Southern California

Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Travel around Europe, and play Augusta National

My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: My Guitar, Gibson SG

What I miss most about being in the third grade: Dodgeball, I did work.
