A three-year letterwinner for Illinois Wesleyan women's soccer, senior Rachel Westerkamp (Beavercreek, Ohio, Beavercreek HS) is the team captain in 2017.
As a freshman (2014) she was named "Newcomer of the Year" in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and was chosen to the second team of all-CCIW squads.
A physics major at Illinois Wesleyan, she is the daughter of John and Lori Westerkamp. Her cousin (Jordan Westerkamp) was an all-Big Ten wide receiver for two seasons at the University of Nebraska and was in training camp with the Miami Dolphins.

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Being hungry literally all the time.

Favorite sports figures: Kristine Lily and Andres Iniesta

My greatest moment in sports was: Going to the Final Four of the NCAA tournament my freshman year here at IWU.

The best player I ever faced was: Alex White in 1v1. He’s just too fast.

Worst dresser on my team: Probably myself, but Ellie Crabtree is a close second.

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: There’s probably some vegetables in there I should have eaten by now, but pizza always sounds better.

Person I’m dying to have dinner with: My parents so they pay for my meal ??

Favorite food: STEAK.

Vegetable I won’t eat: Asparagus

Favorite movie: I love a nice pregame viewing of "Kicking and Screaming" with my teammates.

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: Looks-wise, Selena Gomez. Personality-wise, Kristen Wiig.

If my life were on TV as a reality show, I’d call it: Quantum Mechanics with a side of George Harrison

The person in history I would most like to meet is: Werner Heisenberg

Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Become a millionaire and adopt every dog I see a cute video of.

My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: My guitar if I autographed it probably.

Who is the luckiest person in the world? My brother because he gets to hang out with my dog whenever he wants.

What I miss most about being in the third grade: Nap time obviously but also in third grade, everyone in your class had to give you a valentine and that was sort of a nice feeling.
