Through games of Jan. 16, 2017, Illinois Wesleyan senior guard Amanda Kelly (Schaumburg, Ill., Schaumburg HS) is No. 31 in career assists (150) and No. 38 in 3-pointers (26). She scored a career-high 19 points against Illinois College on Nov. 26, 2016, and her 10 assists at North Central on Dec. 3, 2016, is tied for second most in an IWU single game. She also knocked in the game-winning 3-pointer against Wheaton on Jan. 7, 2017.
A three-year letterwinner for the Titans, Amanda is majoring in financial services at Illinois Wesleyan. She is the daughter of Marty and Carla Kelly.


Why you chose to attend Illinois Wesleyan: Gabby Weber Facebook messaged me halfway through our senior year of high school, so I thought I might as well go to IWU. Along with the fact that IWU has a good business program, it also really helped that IWU won a national championship in 2012.
 
IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: Fencing
 
The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: The amount of Subway I have eaten over the past four years.

Most expensive traffic ticket: Approximately $100, including the cost of traffic school.

Favorite sports figures: Stephen Curry, Anthony Rizzo, and Jimmy Butler
 
My greatest moment in sports was: Our double overtime win at North Park last year to stay in first place in conference
 
The best player I ever faced was: Jewell Lloyd - currently in the WNBA.  
 
Worst dresser on my team: Definitely Nina Anderson
 
Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Some shredded cheese
 
Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Zac Efron
 
Favorite food: Quesadillas
 
Vegetable I won’t eat: Lima beans

My dream job would be: Kathy Lee & Hoda’s job on "The Today Show"
 
Place I’d most like to live: I already live the dream at KKB - I never want to leave.

Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: 1) Travel around Europe and also 2) to meet William and Kate.
 
My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: My purple robe (it's velvet).
 
Who is the luckiest person in the world? Mia Smith. She gets to see all of us every day.
 
What I miss most about being in the third grade: The rec basketball team I played for at that time was Duke. Getting the chance to wear that blue was an honor.
