Illinois Wesleyan senior captain Lauren Pavich (Hinsdale, Hinsdale Central HS) was the leading scorer on the first-ever IWU women's lacrosse team in 2015, scoring 49 points with 29 goals and 20 assists.
Majoring in an interdisciplinary curriculum with concentration in child and family studies at Illinois Wesleyan, she is the daughter of Kim and Jim Pavich.


Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: My two older sisters and dad went here so it was my second home already.

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Frequently eating pizza and Jimmy John's in the four-month period
 
Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? I failed a Math test and that was the end of my Math career

My greatest moment in sports was: Being a part of the inaugural season of IWU women’s lacrosse
 
The best player I ever faced was: Well she calls herself “Linds” on the field but most call her Coach Rosecrans
 
Worst dresser on my team: Pretty confident that our whole team wears sweatpants and sweatshirts everyday but Claire Quist wears pajama pants so she wins.
 
Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Salsa and there’s a lot of it
 
Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Sophia Bush
 
Favorite food: Anything Mexican
 
Vegetable I won’t eat: Tomatoes

Favorite TV shows: “One Tree Hill” and “Chicago PD”
