Illinois Wesleyan senior Kevin Weisling (Shorewood, Wis.,  Shorewood HS has earned two letters (2013, 2015) as a four-year member of the Titan men's swimming team. The versatile Weisling has participated in the 200 freestyle, 500 free, 1000 freestyle, 1650 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly and 100 backstroke, along with various relay teams in his career at IWU.
Majoring in mathematics at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of John and Cindy Weisling.


Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: I liked the swim program and I was offered more money than other colleges.
 
IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: Calculus.
 
The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Finding time to do all the other things I like, between classes, practices, and homework there isn’t much free time.
 
Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? I failed American Government the first time I took it cause the professor and I had some differing opinions, but I got an A the second time though.
 
I’m deathly afraid of ... : Spiders.
 
Worst habit: Biting my fingernails.
 
Most expensive traffic ticket: $0, cause I haven’t been caught yet.
 
Language I’d like to learn: Hungarian.
 
The longest I could survive without my cell phone: Forever.
 
One word your mother or father would use to describe you: Humorous
 
Favorite sports figures: Aaron Rodgers and Michael Phelps.
 
My greatest moment in sports was: Conference meet freshman year of college.
 
The best player I ever faced was: Myself.
 
Worst dresser on my team: Probably me.
 
Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: My roommate’s soup.
 
Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Albert Einstein, if he was still alive ... otherwise, Taylor Swift.
 
Favorite food: Peanut butter and pasta, couldn’t choose between the two.
 
Vegetable I won’t eat: Most of them.
 
Pepsi or Coke? Coke, not even a question.
 
Favorite TV show: “Arrow”
 
Favorite musical group: The Offspring.
 
Favorite movie: “Fight Club”
 
If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: Stephen Amell.
 
If my life were on TV as a reality show, I’d call it: "Getting to Know Kevin, the Bearded Beauty"
 
The person in history I would most like to meet is: Albert Einstein
 
My dream job would be: High school math teacher
 
Place I’d most like to live: Wisconsin
 
Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Go skydiving, and road trip through all the continental states
 
My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: Probably my computer
 
Who is the luckiest person in the world? Everyone who has ever gotten to meet me
 
What I miss most about being in the third grade: The lack of adult-like responsibilities
