Illinois Wesleyan senior Samantha Ellsworth (Havana, Ill., Havana HS) is the 2015-16 women's basketball team captain and has earned three letters. Her career game highs have been 19 points (vs. Mount Mercy, 11/15/14), eight rebounds (North Central, 2/7/15) and four assists (North Park, 1/17/15, and Salisbury, 11/17/13). Through Dec. 1, 2015, Ellsworth is tied for 33rd in school history with 35 career 3-point field goals.
A business administration major at Illinois Wesleyan, she is the daughter of Mike and Susan Ellsworth.

Favorite sports figure: Michael Jordan
 
My greatest moment in sports was: Winning back to back state titles in 7th and 8th grade was pretty fun

Worst dresser on my team: Well, we all wear sweats pretty much every day, so I would say this is a team award

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Probably cheese
 
Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Mathew McConaughey
 
Favorite food: Pizza
 
Vegetable I won’t eat: Brussels sprouts

Favorite TV show: “Nashville” and “Grey’s Anatomy”

My dream job would be: To be a chef

Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Go scuba diving and travel the world

Who is the luckiest person in the world? Dustin Wright because he has me as his girlfriend
 
What I miss most about being in the third grade: Snack time and no homework.. those were the days
