In August 2016, Mary (Carroll) Frahm was named assistant to the athletic director while continuing as an assistant volleyball coach at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Mary was a graduate assistant coach for two years at IWU (2014-16) while earning her master's degree in sports management at Illinois State University.

A 2013 graduate of Division II Lewis University, she was a four-year varsity volleyball player and two-year captain for teams that had a 110-27 overall record in her four years, had four consecutive conference championships and one conference tournament championship. She was a Dean's List student, was selected to the Great Lakes Valley Conference all-academic team four seasons and earned Lewis' Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student-athletes.

Aa a volleyball player at Naperville (Ill.) Central High School, Frahm helped the team win the Illinois Class 4A state title as a junior.

She coached at Stanford (Ill.) Olympia High School and, while in college, coached at the youth and high school level for Club 1 Volleyball in Plainfield, Ill. Frahm was also the campaign manager for the United Way of McLean County in Bloomington.

Mary and her husband, Matt Frahm, were married February 28, 2015.
