Steve Clapp enters his fourth season as a member of the Titan men's basketball staff in 2022-23.

Clapp enters his 22nd year teaching physical education at Bloomington High School. Prior to joining the IWU coaching staff, he coach the BHS boy's basketball team for 15 years.

He is in his 18th season at the helm of the Purple Raiders baseball team, after joining the program in 2001. He has helped lead the Raiders to regional titles in 2002, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015. His 2013 squad advanced to the IHSA Elite Eight.

Clapp earned his bachelor's degrees from Lincoln Christian University in 1995 and Illinois State University in 2000. He received his master's degree in educational administration in 2010.

Clapp graduated from Joplin High School in Missouri. Following graduation, he went on to earn four letters in baseball and basketball at Lincoln Christian.
