Stephen Rudnicki was a three-year letterman at Illinois Wesleyan and was a starter as a senior on the 2011-12 men's basketball team that advanced to the national semifinals.
In 2011-12, he averaged 6.5 points and 1.6 rebounds, playing in all 31 games, starting three. He was a career .753 free throw shooter (67 of 89) and his career high of 16 points came in an NCAA torunament game at Hope College in March 2012.
A product of Evanston (Ill.) High School, he was captain of a team that finished 30-4 and took third place at the 2008 Class 4A state tournament.
A history major at Illinois Wesleyan, Rudnicki did his student teaching the first semester of the 2012 academic year.
