Hayden Hoerdemann

In 2017-18, Hayden Hoerdemann is in his second year as a graduate assistant at Illinois Wesleyan.

Hoerdemann played his first three college seasons at Division I Western Michigan before transferring to Division III Ripon.

At Western Michigan he averaged 2.3 points in 41 career games. As a freshman he scored 75 of his 95 career points and notched a career-high 18 points against Northern Illinois, including going 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

As a senior at Ripon (2014-15), he scored 4.2 points with 2.6 rebounds in 14 games, playing 17.3 minutes per game.

Hoerdemann worked in 2015-16 at Impact Basketball Prep Academy in Las Vegas. Impact Basketball is a premiere destination for pro, college and high school players, international teams, and student athletes all levels. Hoerdemann was a head post-graduate coach, a player development assistant and coached more than 35 games against some of the top junior colleges in the nation, as well as other top prep schools.

Hoerdemann is a native of Bloomington, Ill. and a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He scored 1,711 career points and holds the school's season record for 3-point accuracy (45.0 percent). He averaged in double figures each season with a career best 21 points per game as a senior. In 2011 he was a McDonalds All-American Basketball Team Nominee and named State Farm "Student Male Athlete of the Year". He was an honorable mention all-state selection as a junior and was named to the second team of the Chicago Sun Times Class 2A squads as a sophomore. He also lettered in baseball and soccer and holds the CCHS career soccer record with 82 goals.

He also played on a Peoria AAU team that had an overall record of 109-31 (15U, 16U, 17U) with 10 tournament titles.

A 2015 graduate of Ripon with a degree in business management, Hoerdemann attends Illinois State University as a member of the sport management graduate program.
