Michael Jennings became an assistant football coach at Illinois Wesleyan in 2013.

A 2010 graduate of Illinois College, Jennings was a two-time all-Midwest Conference and Division III All-American wide receiver for the Blueboys. He made 254 career catches for 3,332 yards and 39 touchdowns and holds every single game, season and career receiving record at the school as well as a number of Midwest Conference game, season and career marks.

Following his graduation he worked as a wide receivers coach for one season at Iowa Wesleyan College before playing a season in Austria with the Hohenems Cineplexx Bluedevils.

Jennings, who teaches physical education at Unit 5's George Evans Junior High School, assisted with the Normal West High School football team in 2012 in addition to working with the strength and conditioning programs for football and basketball.
