In 2010, Jared Williamson will be in his fifth season on the Titan coaching staff and will serve as the team's offensive coordinator and is also head coach of the Illinois Wesleyan junior varsity program.
In 2009 he was the Titans' passing game coordinator as Titan quarterbacks completed 62 percent of their passes for 27 touchdowns and a 150.7 efficiency rating, second in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. With six all-conference offensive players from a league champion team, the Titans averaged 30.2 points per game, led the conference in possession time (32:53 per game) and were scond in the conference in both rushing (176.7 yards per game) and pass offense (248.5 yards per game).
Williamson, who is also IWU's head strength and conditioning coach, coached the running backs for his first three seasons at IWU.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Williamson graduated from Eagle River, Alaska High School and was a three-year starter as a quarterback at Mayville State University (N. Dak.) and a two-time all-Dakota Athletic Conference selection. As a senior (2005) he threw for 1,795 yards and 11 touchdowns.
He earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education, double majoring in social science and physical education, and earned a master's degree in sports psychology at Illinois State University.
Williamson and his wife Kelsey are the parents of a daughter (Abby), born in the fall of 2009.
