As the Spirit Squad within the Illinois Wesleyan University Athletic Department, our mission is to establish a tradition of excellence, pride, and unwavering support for our teams. Through dynamic performances, leadership, and community engagement; we strive to unite students, student-athletes, and fans while representing our University with integrity and enthusiasm.

As ambassadors of Illinois Wesleyan, we are committed to fostering school spirit, promoting a positive campus culture, and setting the precedent for greatness in all that we do—laying the foundation for a legacy of passion, dedication, and excellence for future generations of spirit leaders. Vision

Creating a competitive collegiate cheer and dance program that truly embodies the spirit of Illinois Wesleyan University — representing IWU with excellence on the sidelines, in the classroom, and throughout the Bloomington–Normal community. Expanding our presence at UCA and UDA Nationals by pushing the boundaries of our performance, becoming a recognized and respected program in the competition space. Building a strong recruiting pipeline that attracts top-tier athletes who choose IWU specifically to join our Spirit Squad, continually growing our roster with exceptional talent year after year.
