BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team welcomes Monmouth College for Senior Day Sunday, Sept. 20 at Neis Field. 

Sunday's contest will recognize eight seniors; Will Eiss (Rockton, Ill.-Hononegah Community), Owen Boukalik (Northville, Mich.-Northville), Faheem Mujahid (Saint Robert, Mo.-Waynesville), Joey Rodino (Palatine, Ill.-Williams Fremd), Matthew Perchik (Glenview, Ill.-New Trier), Ryder Coleman (Bannockburn, Ill.-Deerfield), Jackson Colman (Pflugerville, Texas-Cedar Park), and Chris Slack (Beason, Ill.-Lincoln). 

The Titans are on a three-game winning streak, all being shutout wins. Freshman Declan Schuler (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) scored his first career goal 29 minutes into the contest against Blackburn. Junior Dillon Tierney (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) posted his second goal of the season with less than 45 seconds left in the first half. The Green and White wouldn't close the door on the Beavers until the 82nd minute, when Mujahid scored his first goal of the season. Freshmen Casey Lenarz (Palos Heights, Ill.-Chicago Christian) and Kobo Michaeli (Chicago, Ill.-Northside College Prep) added their first career assists in Wednesday's contest. 

IWU leads the all-time series over Monmouth 17-4-3, winning the last three contests. The Green and White hold an 11-2-2 record at home against the Scots. Monmouth has dropped all six contests so far this season. The Scots will face Grinnell College on Saturday, Sept. 19 for their Midwest Conference opener before heading to Neis Field.
