Spirit Squad Announces Fall Cheer & Dance Kids' Camp

Open to ages 5-13 on Sept. 5

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University Spirit Squad Director Penny Brooks announced the Titans will host their first-ever Fall Cheer & Dance Kids Camp Saturday, Sept. 5, at Tucci Stadium. The one-day clinic is open to participants ages 5-13.

The camp includes two sessions, with ages 5-9 going from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and ages 10-13 running from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The one-day event will cost $35 for campers and includes two hours with members of the IWU spirit squad. Participants will make new friends in the community, receive an Under Armour IWU spirit squad t-shirt, and learn a fun performance to showcase at the end of camp.

All proceeds from the camp go directly back to spirit squad student-athletes as they work towards their goal of representing IWU at Universal Cheerleaders Association & Universal Dance Association College Nationals this January, the first appearance in school history.
