Men’s Tennis Ventures to Wisconsin for a Pair of Matches

IWU meets Carroll on Friday, Carthage on Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team heads to Wisconsin for a two-match trip against College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foes Carroll University and Carthage College. The Titans (8-5, 0-1 CCIW) take on Carroll (6-10, 1-1 CCIW), Friday, April 10 at 4 p.m. in Waukesha before they duel the Firebirds (14-3, 1-1), Saturday, April 11 at 11 a.m.

IWU most recently fell 7-0 to North Central College, Saturday, April 4. Against Carroll, IWU has won six of 13 matches. However the Pioneers won the last two, including a 6-1 victory last season where then-senior Ryan McCoy collected a singles win. Carthage defeated the Green and White twice last season.

First serve from Waukesha is scheduled for Friday, April 10 at 4 p.m. Saturday's action from Kenosha is slated for 10 a.m. Results will be posted on iwusports.com upon the completion of each match.
