BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team opens College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play Saturday, April, 4 against the reigning CCIW champions North Central College. First serve is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at Evergreen Racquet Club.
IWU sits at 8-4 in the non-conference slate. The Titans are exiting a long layover, last falling 7-0 to Bethel University Tuesday, March 17. Illinois Wesleyan leads the all-time series over the Cardinals, 24-16; however, NCC has claimed the last 10 meetings.
NCC (9-6, 2-0 CCIW) last defeated Millikin University 7-0 Sunday, March 29. The victory over the Big Blue extends the Cardinals' win streak to five. Before NCC ventures to Bloomington, they will take on CCIW foes Carroll University and Elmhurst University Friday, April 3.
