BLOOMINGTON, Ill.- The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team begins March at home against Ripon College, Saturday, March 7 and Lawrence University, Sunday, March 8. Action from Evergreen Racquet Club on Saturday is set for 4:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Last weekend, the Titans (5-2) earned two singles wins from junior Thad Dillow (Effingham, Ill.), but suffered their first defeats of the season, dropping matches to Olivet Nazarene University and Greenville University. This comes after IWU had its best start in over a decade at 5-0.

This will be the first ever meeting between Illinois Wesleyan and Ripon (3-11). The Red Hawks most recently fell to UW-Eau Claire, Feb. 28, 7-0. The Green and White are 3-0 against Lawrence (4-8) all-time. Last season, IWU blanked the Vikings, 7-0. In those three meetings, Lawrence has only won one match. The Vikings lost 6-1 to Edgewood College, March 1.
