ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla.- The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team swept Edgewood College, 7-0, Monday, March 16. 

IWU (8-3) shuffled its lineup in both singles and doubles play. In doubles action, the top tandem of junior Thad Dillow (Effingham, Ill.-Effingham) and senior Griffin Hammond (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora) got their first win on the one line this season, defeating Ryder Broadbridge and Andrew Hoffmann, 6-4. In their first match together, senior Ben Vigneri (Casper, Wyo.-Phillips Exeter) and freshman Will Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) took down Jon Olafsson and Justin Hutchcroft, 6-2. Another senior-freshman pairing in senior Ian Turnbull (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) and freshman Truman Raher (Peoria, Ill.-Richwoods) completed the sweep at No. 3 doubles, 7-6 (2) against Marek Woytasik and Ryan Casey

In the singles slate, reigning College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin player of the week, Vigneri earned his first individual win of the spring break trip, taking down Broadbridge at the top singles spot, 6-1, 6-1. Turnbull defeated Olafsson at two singles, 6-1, 6-3. Dillow blanked Hutchcroft at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Hammond continued the straight-set parade with a 6-3, 6-3 win against Woytasik. Ehrlich collected his second win of the spring break trip, winning 6-4, 6-3 at No. 5 singles over Hoffmann. Raher defeated Casey 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6 singles to close out the sweep.

The Titans resume their spring break trip tomorrow, March 17 against Bethel University. Action from Orlando, Fla. is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET.
