BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team will travel to top-ranked Washington University in St. Louis Tuesday, Oct. 13 for its final non-conference game of the season. Game time is set for 6 p.m.

The Titans are coming off a two-win week, taking down Elmhurst University, 2-1, Oct. 7, and North Park University, 2-nil, Oct. 10. Junior Taylor Haun (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora Township) contributed one goal and two assists over the two contests.

No. 1 WashU remains as one of few undefeated teams in the nation, standing tall with a 12-0 record and a 2-0 University Athletic Association mark. The Titans come into the contest 7-0-5 with a 3-0-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin standing. Haun has been a key creator so far this season, ranking 23rd in the nation with assists per game (0.60).

The Bears hold the all-time series lead 16-5-5, with the Titans having a 2-8-3 away record against WashU. IWU is in search of its first win against its St. Louis foe in nine tries, with seven losses and a nil-nil overtime draw in 2016 at Neis Field. Last time the two teams met, the Bears blanked the Titans 6-0 at Neis Field in 2025. The Green and White have not beaten WashU since 2010 and eye their first victory in St. Louis since 2009.
