KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team concluded its time at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional with seniors Ian Turnbull (Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington) and Griffin Hammond (Metamora, Ill.- Metamora) falling to Jacob Patterson and Arya Ganapathy Kallembella of Denison University, 8-1 on the third day of the event, hosted by Kalamazoo College, Sunday, Sept. 28.


This ends a run for the Titan tandem that consisted of wins over Jacob and Josh Doyle of Albion College, 8-7 (3) in the consolation round of 16 before defeating Ernesto Botero Diaz and Jesus Soto Bossa of Principia College, 8-2 in the consolation quarterfinals. They earned a spot in the consolation finals over Phillip Wottgen and Rafael Lessa of North Central college due to a walkover. 


This wraps up the fall season for the Green and White, who turns its attention to the spring campaign.
