BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team returns home Saturday, Sept. 27 for its last non-conference game of the season against University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Match time is set for 1 p.m. at Neis Field and will serve as the front half of a doubleheader with the Titan men's team.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a proud supporter of Illinois Wesleyan athletics, will be selling $5 smoothies at Neis Field this Saturday, Sept. 27. Fans can purchase their smoothies beginning at 12 p.m.

Sophomore Liza Wiley (Bloomington, Ind.-Home School) continues to lead the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin in assists, dishing out five this season. Illinois Wesleyan has three of the top eight assist leaders in the league, as senior Kayley Carew (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) and sophomore Taylor Haun (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora Township) each have three. Wiley is also third in the league in points (13) and goals (4).

Illinois Wesleyan (5-4-0) bounced back Wednesday, Sept. 24 against Knox College, winning the mid-week match, 4-1, in Galesburg, Ill. Sophomore Keira Robinson (Bloomington, Ind.-Bloomington South) put the Titans up 2-nil in the first half in the first multi-goal game of her career, as Carew and junior Ava Mapes (Golden, Colo.-Lakewood) also scored goals to put the Prairie Fire away. UW-Platteville owns a 5-3-0 record on the season. The Pioneers most recently dropped a 2-1 match on the road at Carroll University Tuesday, Sept. 23.
