Women’s Hoops Drops 2025-26 Slate

Titans to host two in-season tournaments

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University women's basketball head coach Mia Smith released the 2025-26 schedule Friday morning, Aug. 29, less than two months before the Titans tipoff the season. The full 25-game schedule can be viewed here.

The Green and White will continue its tradition of high-level exhibition experience as Illinois Wesleyan will travel to NCAA Division I foes Eastern Illinois (Oct. 23) and Illinois State (Oct. 26) before officially lifting the lid on the 2025-26 campaign Nov. 15.

The Titans begin its 25-game slate as host to the Champions Classic Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 15-16. IWU will kick things off against Trinity (Texas) Saturday, Nov. 15, before battling UW-Whitewater at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16. UWW will play Millikin on day one of the classic, with the Warhawks and Trinity sparring Sunday, Nov. 16.

The following weekend, IWU travels to Holland, Mich. for a pair of games at Hope. The Green and White is set to face Franciscan Friday, Nov. 21, before squaring off against Hope, Nov. 22.

The third straight weekend tournament will see the Titans return to the friendly confines of the Shirk Center to host the Midwest Challenge, Nov. 29-30. Illinois Wesleyan will go up against UW-La Crosse, a new addition to this year's field, while DePauw and WashU will battle in the first day's other bout. The winners will meet Sunday, Nov. 30, at 4 p.m., with the consolation final on tap for a 2 p.m. tip.

December brings the start of IWU's 16-game College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin slate and a six-game roadtrip. The Titans begin league play at Augustana Wednesday, Dec. 3, and travel to North Central (Dec. 6), Elmhurst (Dec. 13), and Chicago (Dec.16) before jetting off to Orlando, Fla. In the Sunshine State, IWU will battle Bethel, Dec. 28, and Wisconsin Lutheran, Dec. 29, to close out the calendar year.

The Titans will recenter their attention on the remainder of the CCIW schedule, beginning Jan. 3 with a contest against Carroll. The CCIW Tournament will begin with the quarterfinals Tuesday, Feb. 24. The semifinal is set for Friday, Feb. 27, with the CCIW Tournament Championship on Saturday, Feb. 28.
