ATLANTA - Another strong academic year saw the Illinois Wesleyan University women's basketball program garner Academic Team Honor Roll Special Mention status from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Tuesday, July 22. IWU, which boasted a team grade point average of 3.687, was one of two College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin schools recognized.

The Titans won the CCIW regular season and tournament championships in 2024-25, finishing the season with a record of 28-2. IWU, which boasted the second-highest GPA in the CCIW, notched an unblemished 16-0 league record.

"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew.  "The 119 teams we honor this year strive to achieve all-around success and we commend their efforts."
