LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Another national recognition came the way of Illinois Wesleyan University softball shortstop Jen Kuhn (Normal, Ill.-University High) Thursday, May 29, as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2025 Rawlings Gold Glove winners.

Kuhn is the third Titan in program history to reel in the prestigious honor, joining Ava Khoury and Casey Wissmiller who grabbed the nod a season ago.

The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Defensive Player of the Year, the coveted Gold Glove is the latest addition to Kuhn's storied Titan career. Illinois Wesleyan's everyday shortstop since she stepped foot on campus, Kuhn was incredibly sure-handed this year. She made just three errors in the year, posting a .983 fielding percentage, while stealing countless hits from the opposition.

Kuhn was also a key piece in IWU's knack for thwarting opponents efforts to swipe bases, as she slapped the tag on at second for catcher Claire Post, who ranked top-10 nationally in runners thrown out.

In all, Kuhn recorded 65 putouts and 108 assists to just three errors while turning seven double plays. She was a key part of IWU's defense as the Titans compiled a team fielding percentage of .973, the 19th-best in all of Division III.

Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, presented by the NFCA, were selected by the 10 regional representatives of the NFCA's NCAA Division III All-America Committee, following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position.

Any student-athlete who competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
