Titan Flag Football Announces Camp Collaboration with Bears

Head coach Melissa Valenzuela welcomes campers Saturday, May 10

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Backed by the Chicago Bears Outreach Team, Illinois Wesleyan University Flag Football Head Coach Melissa Valenzuela will host a camp Saturday, May 10. Middle school and high school students are welcome to attend the camp at Tucci Stadium on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan.

Check in is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., and the camp will take place from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. All attendees will be gifted a t-shirt, and lunch will be provided free of charge.

The camp will be coached by high school and college coaches, as well as the Chicago Bears Outreach Team. During the two hours, attendees will participate in a dynamic warmup and offensive and defensive drills.

Since joining IWU as the program's inaugural head coach, Valenzuela has been busy on the road recruiting and establishing relationships with the NFL network. In addition to next week's camp, Valenzuela will be speaking and working a camp with the Indianapolis Colts this weekend, May 3-4.
