O’Neill Selected CCIW Women’s Golfer of the Week

Second weekly award of her career

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Senior Jacque O'Neill (Harbor Springs, Mich.-Harbor Springs) was tabbed the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Women's Golfer of the Week Tuesday afternoon, April 29. The league office's announcement marks the second weekly honor of her career and is the sixth time a Titan has taken home the award this season.

O'Neill led the Green and White to a runner-up finish at last week's Cardinal Classic, April 21-22. Playing through gusting winds, O'Neill fired rounds of 76 and 79 at Bolingbrook Golf Club to finish the tournament with a score of 155. She tied for second in the 155-player field, notching the sixth top-five performance of her career.

Illinois Wesleyan, which won the CCIW Championship in the fall, looks ahead to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship set for May 13-16. The tournament is scheduled to be played at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
