Clifford Collects CCIW Men’s Golfer of the Week Award

Fourth weekly award of his career

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - For the fourth time in his career, senior Quinn Clifford (Chicago, Ill.-Brother Rice) reeled in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Men's Golfer of the Week status as the league office announced its final weekly award of the season Tuesday evening, April 29. Clifford marks the fifth conference honor of the season for the Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team.

Clifford led Illinois Wesleyan at the Take Back the Night Challenge hosted by Millikin, April 25-26, where he and the Titans took home hardware. The Chicago, Ill. native secured his fourth career victory, finishing the tournament seven-under par (135). Behind the strong play of six top-25 finishers led by Clifford, IWU topped the 20-team field with a 36-hole score of 559.

The Green and White head to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championship, set for May 1-3, at WeaverRidge in Peoria, Ill.
