NAPERVILLE, Ill. – After scoring the game-winning goal against Elmhurst University, Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse fifth-year Bob Boone (Los Angeles, Calif.-Notre Dame) was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday afternoon, April 22.

It marks the fourth week in a row and the fifth honor for the Titans this season, as Boone joins Nick Horrocks (April 14), Timothy McHugh (March 25, April 1), and Colin Tervo (Feb. 25) as honorees.

Boone scored the game-winning goal with just 12 seconds left in Illinois Wesleyan's 12-11 comeback win over Elmhurst Saturday, April 19, to become the last undefeated team in conference play. Boone led the team with five points – just one shy of his career-high – on two goals and a team-high three assists.

Illinois Wesleyan hosts Carroll University Saturday, April 26, for its final regular season game. Saturday will feature a men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader and will serve as both teams' senior day celebrations. The men's game is set for a noon start in Tucci Stadium, followed by the IWU women's 3 p.m. game against Elmhurst.
