ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's wrestling team dropped both matches in the Augustana Triangular, Tuesday, December 2, to College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foes Augustana College and Milwaukee School of Engineering. 

In their first dual of the day, the Titans fell to the Vikings 39-16. Freshman 125-pounder Brady Mouser (Bloomington, Ill. - Tri Valley) defeated Jack Reina 14-9 via a technical fall to give IWU a 5-0 lead. At 133 pounds, freshman Tyson Zvonar (Frankfort, Ill. - Lincoln-Way East) bested Tyson Bruce via a 15-0 technical fall at 133 pounds, which doubled the Green and White's lead to 10-0. After the Vikings claimed the next five bouts, sophomore Lucas Blanton (Dixon, Ill. - Amboy) pinned Lamero Ceasar. The Vikings won the remaining two matches.

Against MSOE, Zvonar picked up a win via a pin. Junior Austin Johnston (Normal, Ill. - Normal West) joined Zvonar in the win column against MSOE. Full results will soon be made available.

The Titans are back in action, Friday Dec. 5 at Concordia-Wisconsin. Action from Mequon, Wis. is scheduled for 6 p.m.
