BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's wrestling team continues College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin competition, Tuesday, Dec. 2 against Augustana College and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Action in Rock Island is slated for 4 p.m.

Prior to the holiday break, the Green and White competed at the Eight Man Battles in Eau Claire, Wis. Junior Austin Johnston (Normal, Ill. - Normal West) built on his second place finish from last season with a first place prize at 141 pounds. Four other Titans placed at the event.

Last season, IWU fell to MSOE 42-10. Then-freshman Ameer Alamawi (New Lenox, Ill. - Lincoln-Way Central) won via a forfeit and then-sophomore Evan Carel (Hamilton, Ill. - Hamilton) earned a major decision. This will be the program's first ever dual against Augustana since it was reinstated prior to the 2023-24 season.
