Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule

Enters second season with Michael Kellar at the helm

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.- Illinois Wesleyan University head baseball coach, Michael Kellar, officially announced his 2026 schedule Thursday, Nov. 5.

The 40-game slate features 20 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin games, a trip to Louisville, Ky., over spring break, before wrapping up with CCIW postseason play and beyond in early May.

Opening week for the Titans, Friday, Feb. 20, features a weekend series with Greenville University at Robert E. Smith Field. 

The following weekend, IWU travels to Memphis, Tenn. for a single game against DePauw University and a double header versus host Rhodes College.

In the midst of a 13-game road trip, the Green and White will visit Washington University in St. Louis for a weekend series battle. From there, Illinois Wesleyan continues south for Spalding, Ky., March. 13-14, for a double header on Friday and a single game the following day against Spalding University. Before returning home, the Titans make a stop in Terre Haute, Ind., for a single game against Rose-Hulman.

The reigning regular season CCIW champions open at home for a weekend series with UW-Oshkosh Friday-Sunday, March 20-23, and then visit Millikin on Wednesday, March 25 for the conference opener before hosting the Big Blue that weekend. 

IWU opens the month of April at Elmhurst University for a single game then rattle off a three-game set with Carroll the third and the fourth. The rest of April shapes up with CCIW action by hosting Carthage, Elmhurst, and North Central College, mixing in a pair of non-conference games with Benedictine University and visiting Illinois College. 

Illinois Wesleyan heads north to Wheaton, Ill. April 29, for a 6 p.m. game under the lights, before  making the trek to North Park University the following Monday. The Vikings and Titans finish the regular season May 2, with a double header at Horenberger Field.

The top six CCIW teams will square off in the CCIW Tournament Wednesday, May 6, and will crown a champion Friday May 9.
