BLOOMINGTON, Ill. The Illinois Wesleyan men's wrestling team opens dual meet competition with the top two teams in the conference. 

Saturday, Nov. 15, the Green and White take on Millikin University, who was slotted second in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's preseason coaches poll at 7 p.m. at Griswold Center. This trip down Route 51 is the second for the Titans who opened their campaign last week in Decatur at the Millikin Open. 

In the tournament, Junior Austin Johnston (Normal, Ill. - Normal West) won his first two bouts in the 141 pound bracket that consisted of a pin of Drake Montelongo of Lindsay Wilson at 5:21. The meet also saw four IWU newcomers earn their first collegiate wins including Tyson Zvonar (Frankfort, Ill. - Lincoln-Way East), who dispatched Millikin's Luke Kawa via a 8-5 decision. 

Illinois Wesleyan follows its dual in Decatur with its first home meet of the season, Monday, Nov. 17, against 10th ranked North Central College. The Cardinals have won 58 straight CCIW bouts, most recently knocking off Wheaton College, 44-6, in their first dual match of the season. Action is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. inside the Shirk Center and will serve as the back end of a doubleheader with the IWU women's wrestling team.
