Crabtree Earns Fourth CCIW Runner of the Week Honor

Fifth weekly award of her career

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University women's cross country senior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) picked up her fourth College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Runner of the Week honor of the season, as announced by the league office Tuesday, Oct. 7. The award marks four awards in five weeks for Crabtree, and the fifth of her career.

At the Dan Hutson Invite, hosted by Wartburg College, Saturday, Oct. 4, Crabtree continued her spectacular senior season, claiming a third-place finish with a time of 22:30.3. The Normal, Ill. product finished just behind Gustavus Adolphus' Molly Liston and Central's Peyton Steffen, who are the only two runners to cross the finish line before Crabtree in four meets this season. Crabtree led the Titan team to a seventh place finish at Max Cross Country Course, the host of the NCAA Division III Regional later this season.

Crabtree and Illinois Wesleyan get back into action at the Augustana Interregional Meet Saturday, Oct. 18, at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill.
