BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team travels to Decatur, Ill. for its College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season finale Wednesday, Oct. 29 against Millikin University. The Titans, who sit at 8-7-2 and 3-3-1 in league play, look to improve their seeding in the CCIW Tournament, while Millikin, 4-9-4 on the season and 1-4-2 in the conference, is on the outside looking in, playing to extend its season.

The Green and White locked up its position in the postseason Saturday, Oct. 27, at Carroll in a 1-nil victory. Sophomore Keira Robinson (Bloomington, Ind.-Bloomington South), returning to the field for the first time in nearly three weeks, knocked in the Titans lone goal in off of a rebound from junior Sophie Lampert (Hudson, Ill.-Normal West). Illinois Wesleyan booted Carroll out of the CCIW Tournament in the win.

In her breakout junior season, Ava Mapes (Golden, Colo.-Lakewood) continues to lead the Titans offensively with a team-best 11 points. She ranks third in the league through seven conference games in goals with four and assists with three. Senior Jenna Gravitt (Morton, Ill.-Morton) also ranks third in the league with her three helpers.

On its home turf, Millikin most recently defeated Augustana College, 3-1, Saturday, Oct. 25, giving the Big Blue their first conference win. MU needs a win against IWU Wednesday, and some help from CCIW foe Elmhurst, to claim a spot in the conference tournament.

In the all-time record, Illinois Wesleyan has dominated the Big Blue, 27-3-0. Millikin picked up a 2-1 victory last year in the final game of the regular season. Current sophomore Ellen Dahlquist (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) scored the first goal of the game before IWU gave up a late go-ahead goal to wrap up the Titans season.

IWU kicks off at Frank M. Lindsay Field at 7 p.m. against Millikin. A live stream will be provided and can be found here, while live stats can be found here
