BLOOMINGTON, Ill.- The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team concludes its regular season as it hosts Millikin University Wednesday, Oct. 29, under the lights of Neis Field. IWU currently sits in third place in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin with 14 points, but can slide to second with a Titan win and a loss or tie from North Central College against conference-leading Wheaton College.

The Green and White bring a 10-2-4 record to the test along with its 4-1-2 conference mark. On their own turf, the Titans are 4-2-1. Last time out, Illinois Wesleyan pulled out a 1-1 draw on the road at Carroll University. The match featured just four shots on goal, as the Titan offense mustered up their lone goal in the 31st minute.

The IWU defense, led by senior goalkeeper Sam Kedzior (Cary, Ill,-Cary-Grove), has limited teams to one goal or less in the previous five matches. On the year, Kedzior has garnered 59 saves to go along with his league leading .980 goals against average. Illinois Wesleyan's offensive attack spearheaded by its 35 goals, which co-leads the CCIW, is powered by the likes of juniors Ryder Coleman (Bannockburn, Ill.-Deerfield) and Matthew Perchik (Glenview, Ill.-New Trier). Coleman sits at the top of the points list for the Titans in conference play with seven, as Perchik follows behind with five, alongside freshman Hunter Reinberg (Washington, Mo.-St. Francis Borgia)

Conference nemesis Millikin sits in seventh in the CCIW needing a win and help from Carthage College to backdoor its way into the conference tournament. The Big Blue feature an overall record of 6-9-1 and 2-4-1 inside the CCIW. MU is coming off a 4-1 victory over Augustana College Saturday, Oct. 25. Junior Bryce Davis anchors the offense with 19 points coming on nine goals and an assist. It has been a revolving door between the pipes for the Big Blue, which have featured four different goalkeepers throughout the year. Senior Chase Mandra has taken the bulk of the duty in net with season totals of 33 goals allowed and 70 saves.

In the 38 year history of the matchup, Millikin holds a slim one win advantage over IWU with a 22-21-2 overall record. The Big Blue took last year's match with a 3-2 win in Decatur, Ill. Before the defeat last year, the Titans were winners of four straight. The longest winning streak for IWU came in an eight year span (2006-2013) against the Route 51 rival.

The Green and White's quest for a first round bye in the CCIW tournament will kickoff at 7 p.m. at Neis Field. The final match of the regular season can be followed via live stats here, and a live stream will be provided here
