NAPERVILLE, Ill. - A sensational senior season rolls on with the fourth straight College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award for Illinois Wesleyan University's Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 21.

It is the fifth weekly award of the season for Crabtree, who has reeled in the honor six times in her career. She is the first CCIW women's cross country runner to earn the award four straight weeks since the league began dolling it out in 2009. Furthermore, Crabtree is the first to receive the nod five times in a season since North Central's Amanda Laesch did so in 2010.

Competing at the Nuttycombe Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin Friday, Oct. 17, Crabtree claimed a top-25 finish. The Normal, Ill. native clocked in at 21:51.8, good for 21st-place, besting nearly 60 NCAA Division I competitors.

Crabtree was knocked out of the top-20 by just three seconds en route to posting her third-best 6k time of the season. She came through the first 2k of the race in 33rd-place, but battled throughout the remainder of the race and climbed 12 spots.

Next on the docket for Crabtree and the Titans is the highly-anticipated CCIW Championship. The league's title event is slated for Saturday, Nov. 1, at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill.
