BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team stays home for a midweek College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match against Augustana College Wednesday, Oct. 15. Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Neis Field.

Senior Kayley Carew (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) and sophomore Liza Wiley (Bloomington Ind.-Home School) rank second in the conference in assists, each with five this season. Illinois Wesleyan has one of the highest scoring offenses in the league as a team, ranking second in the CCIW with an average of over two goals per game.

Illinois Wesleyan (5-6-2, 0-2-1 CCIW) is still seeking its first league victory, most recently dropping a 4-2 match against North Park at Neis Field Saturday, Oct. 11. Junior Ava Mapes (Golden, Colo.-Lakewood) and sophomore Ellen Dahlquist (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) scored goals in the loss, while Carew tallied two points on a pair of assists.

Augustana (3-8-2, 0-4-0 CCIW) is also searching for its first CCIW win, most recently falling 4-1 versus Wheaton Saturday, Oct. 11. The Vikings led for the majority of the match, but four Thunder goals in a span of 18 minutes in the second period spoiled Augustana's hopes of a league victory.

IWU leads the all-time series against the Vikings 19-10-9. A season ago, Augustana and Illinois Wesleyan fought to a 1-1 draw in a highly competitive match. Sophomore Keira Robinson (Bloomington, Ind.-Bloomington South) scored the Titans lone goal.

Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Neis Field. A live stream of the contest can be found here, while live stats can be found here
