Krouse Earns Golfer of the Week Award

First weekly honor of her career

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University freshman women's golfer Addison Krouse (Effingham, Ill.-St. Anthony) earned College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Golfer of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office Wednesday, Oct. 1. It is the first weekly award of her career.

Krouse won the Dechert Classic, hosted by Millikin University, Friday-Saturday, Sept. 25-26 with a total score of 160. The freshman shot an opening round 81, putting her in second-place, before her final round 79 at the 5,600-yard, par-72 South Side Country Club sealed the first win of her college career. Krouse's 36-hole score of 160 was a career-best as she led the Titans 'B' squad to an 11-shot victory over Coe College.

Illinois Wesleyan looks ahead to the CCIW Championship Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 6-8, held at Metamora Fields Golf Club.
