BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Coming off a weekend that featured two home tri meets, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's swim and dive team will host long-standing foe, Wabash College Friday, Jan. 24. The meet will start at 5 p.m. inside Fort Natatorium.

The men just hosted a two-tri weekend as the Titans competed against Illinois College and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Millikin University on Friday, Jan. 17, and then turned around and competed with Illinois Institute of Technology and CCIW foe Carthage College Saturday, Jan. 18. IWU went 1-3 on the weekend with its only win coming against MU, as the Titans outscored the Big Blue, 90-77. Freshman Tate Thomas (Joliet, Ill.-Joliet West) finished first in the 1650-yard freestyle with a 17:49.18, dominating the competition by a full 47 seconds on Friday.

IWU's history with Wabash is one of the longest-standing in its program history, dating back to the 2011 season. The Little Giants hold the upper hand in the all-time series with a 13-0 overall record. The last meeting between the two teams was Jan. 12, 2024 in Crawfordsville, Ind. where Wabash took the win 157-75.
