NORMAL, Ill. - Back-to-back rounds of even par has senior Macy Ludwig (Effingham, Ill.-St. Anthony) inside the top-five after two rounds of play at the Redbird Invite at Weibring Golf Club. The eighth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team sits 12th in the tournament following rounds of 321 and 308 Sunday, Sept. 8. 

In a primarily Division I field, Illinois Wesleyan's 'A' team leads Division I competitors IU Indy and Valparaiso. Additionally, the Titan 'B' team is 14th at 634, 17 strokes ahead of Valpo. 

Illinois State tops the team leaderboard at 13-under (563), with Little Rock (590) and Butler (591) in second and third, respectively. Northern Illinois is fourth, while Bradley rounds out the top-five. 

Ludwig was one of four players in the 93-player field to fire scores of par-or-better in each of the first two rounds. She sits seven strokes off the lead held by ISU's Morgan Jones.

Senior Kylie Hundman (Bloomington, Ill.-Central Catholic) paced the 'B' team and sits tied for 37th at nine-over, 153.

The final round is slated for tomorrow, Sept. 9, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
