BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team prepares for a two-game week and is set to play Monmouth College Wednesday, Sept. 18. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Neis Field.

The Titans are 3-0-1 going into Wednesday's game after a towering win against Rockford University last Friday, Sept. 13. The Green and White defeated the Regents 3-nil, with a goal from sophomore Faheem Mujahid (Saint Robert, Mo.-Waynesville), and a pair from fellow sophomore Ryder Coleman (Bannockburn Ill.-Deerfield), all of which occurred within the first half of the game.

The Scots are heading into Wednesday's competition 2-3-1, with a recent loss to Coe College, 2-3. Monmouth and IWU have not yet seen the same teams this season but the Scots will be taking on College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Millikin next week.

Dating back to 1986, IWU and MC have met 23 times prior, with the Green and White taking the overall record of 16-4-3. The last time the two teams met was Sept. 7, 2022 where the Titans overpowered the Scots in a 6-3 win.

Wednesday's kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Neis Field. You can find the live stats by clicking here, and the live stream here. Both links are also available on the men's soccer schedule page of iwusports.com.
