CSC Release

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Illinois Wesleyan University Assistant Director of Athletic Communications Taiah Gallisath was named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Inclusion Fellowship Class, announced by the organization Tuesday, Sept. 17. Gallisath is one of 12 in the class, and one of six to represent NCAA Division III.

In the fourth year of the program's existence, Gallisath and her class of CSC members will study issues around championing an inclusive culture in athletic communications and within college athletics overall during the 2024-25 academic year. A year-long educational series, the program is designed to provide insights into inclusive issues, values, and opportunities within collegiate athletics for those in the communications field.

Beginning in September, the program culminates at the association's 2025 CSC Unite in Orlando where the fellows will be recognized and assist in executing the convention's inclusion-based programming.

Gallisath, amid her second year working in the IWU athletic communications department, serves as the primary contact for the women's soccer, cross country, track and field, wrestling, and men's lacrosse programs. An active member of CSC, Gallisath serves on the Academic All-America committee.
