CCIW Release

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin released its first of three Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference teams Monday, Feb. 23. Ninety-two Illinois Wesleyan University student-athletes were listed on the fall team, while senior men's soccer goalkeeper Sam Kedzior (Cary Grove, Ill.-Cary Grove) and senior cross country runner Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) were named IWU's Jack Swartz Award recipients.

The CCIW Academic All-Conference list comprises those individuals who achieved an overall grade-point average of 3.30 or above and be at least a sophomore academically.

Additionally, the CCIW announced all of the recipients of the Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award. Each CCIW member institution selects two student-athletes (one male & one female) from each of the three sports seasons (fall, winter, spring) to be honored as Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference members. To be eligible, an individual must be at least a sophomore academically and have an overall grade point average of 3.50.

Kedzior closed out an incredible career on the pitch, leaving a legacy as one of the most accomplished Titans in men's soccer history. The secondary education major supported a 3.94 GPA, starting all but one match. On the year, Kedzior recorded a program-record 13 wins and 87 saves to the tune of a .98 goals against average. Kedzior will graduate as the program's all-time saves (282) and wins leader (31). 

Crabtree, a biology and environmental studies major, wrapped up her career as a Titan in record-breaking fashion, running to a 17th-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championships. Crabtree's First Team All-American placement was the highest in IWU cross country history. She won the individual CCIW title, matching a 22-year-old meet record time and setting a new program record.
