BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Following a weekend break, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team will face its toughest challenge of the season Tuesday, Sept. 17 with a trip to No. 1 ranked Washington University in St. Louis.

The Titans are coming off a 5-0 shutout over Knox College,  Sept. 11, where a trio of freshman Liza Wiley (Bloomington, Ind.-Home School), Ellen Dahlquist (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame), and Taylor Haun (Metamora, Ill.-Metamora Township) notched their first collegiate goals. Wiley also secured her first career hat trick on Wednesday. Freshmen keepers Grace Kiewiet (Leawood, Kan.-Notre Dame de Sion) and Ella Randall (San Francisco, Calif.-The Bay School of San Francisco) split time in the net and recorded three and one save, respectively.

With the win over Knox, Illinois Wesleyan moves to 1-4 on the season while No. 1 WashU is still riding an undefeated streak with a 6-0 record on the year. The Bears have allowed only three goals this season while shutting out three of their opponents.
