BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University athletic training staff announced the addition of two full-time assistant athletic trainers in Mallery Pearson and Olivia Tisckos, Friday, June 21.

Head Athletic Trainer Melissa Perkins, in her third full year at Illinois Wesleyan, will continue to work with football and softball. Logan Hollis, entering his fourth year on staff at IWU, will carry on to his second year serving as the athletic trainer for women's volleyball, men's lacrosse, and men's and women's golf. After two full years as a graduate assistant at IWU and now in her third year as a full-time assistant, Erin Rosier will remain working with women's basketball and football. Now in her second year as a full-time assistant, Kayla Pisauro will continue working with men's and women's wrestling and baseball. Stephanie Tighe, in her second year full-time, will serve as the women's soccer and track and field athletic trainer. Rounding out the two year full-time staff members, Rachel Dawson will work with cross country, men's basketball, and men's and women's tennis.

In their first year as full-time athletic training staff, Olivia Tisckos will work with men's and women's swim and dive, women's lacrosse, and track and field while Mallery Pearson will work with men's soccer, men's volleyball, and women's bowling.

Tisckos has been at IWU for over two years, serving as a graduate assistant in athletic training. In her time as a graduate assistant, she primarily worked with men's and women's cross country, men's volleyball, and women's bowling. Getting both her undergraduate degree and her masters degree from Illinois State University, Tisckos is sticking to her Bloomington-Normal roots. Not only did Tisckos work at IWU for her graduate assistantship, she was also an athletic training student watching over some of the staff here as well during her undergrad working with women's basketball, softball, and baseball. Additionally, Tisckos brings experience at the Division I level from her time at ISU.

Pearson, another full-time addition to the athletic training staff, is no stranger to IWU. Working with the Illinois Wesleyan football and women's volleyball team in the fall of 2023 as an intern, Pearson has a plethora of experience in the athletic training field. A Toulon, Ill. native, she attended Loras College where she received her undergraduate degree in kinesiology and her masters degree in athletic training. Pearson grabbed some clinical experience at Loras working with wrestling, softball, and indoor track and field and at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she worked specifically with baseball. She also helped out the athletic training staff at Galena High School.
