Ludwig Claims Back-to-Back Golfer of the Week Honors

Led Titans to a team win with a second-place individual finish

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - For the second week in a row and the fourth time in her career, Illinois Wesleyan University women's junior golfer Macy Ludwig (Effingham, Ill.-St. Anthony) earned College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Golfer of the Week honors, the league office announced Wednesday, April 24. It is the fourth straight week that a Titan has claimed the award.

Ludwig was one of five Titans to finish in the top-10 in the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling this weekend, April 19-20. Ludwig led the Titans to a team victory with a second-place finish individually, carding a 155 total. Her first round score of 75 tied for the lowest round of the tournament.

Illinois Wesleyan has completed regular season play, but will return May 21-24 for the NCAA Division III National Championship held at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky.
