CCIW Release

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – For the second straight week, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team picked up College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Player of the Week honors as senior Trystan Seeley (Castle Rock, Colo.-Castle View) garnered the Offensive Player of the Week distinction. The conference office announced its selections Tuesday, April 2.

Seeley's honor comes just a week after teammate junior Colin Tervo (West Linn, Ore.-West Linn) was deemed the CCIW Defensive Player of the Week, March 26.

The Castle Rock, Colo. native played a crucial role in IWU's 20-5 win over Southwestern University Thursday, March 28. Seeley showcased his finesse with a curl-around, no-look goal on his way to six points against the Pirates, just one shy of his career-best point total. Seeley scored four goals and dished out two assists in the non-conference win.

Seeley shares this week's offensive award with Elmhurst University's Eli Spence.

The Titans host the University of Dubuque Wednesday, April 3, for the second game of a three-part home slate. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. inside Tucci Stadium.
