Dretzka Named CCIW Offensive Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Keeping its hot streak for College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin weekly awards, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team secured its fourth straight CCIW Player of the Week award as sophomore Noah Dretzka (Delafield, Wis.-Kettle Moraine) earned the offensive distinction. The conference office announced its selections Tuesday, April 16.

Dretzka is the fourth Titan this season to earn weekly honors following Michael Campagna, Trystan Seeley, and Colin Tervo

Dretzka had a phenomenal week of competition totaling 10 points to help IWU to a pair of CCIW wins over North Central College and Carthage College. Dretzka opened the week with three points off of two goals and an assist in the Titans' 16-10 victory over NCC, Wednesday, April 10, before having a career day against Carthage. The sophomore led the team with seven points and five goals, setting new career-highs in both, while also dishing out a pair of assists in IWU's 18-13 win over the Firebirds, Saturday, April 13. 

Dretzka ranks third on the team in assists with 16 and ranks fifth in both points (30) and goals (14).

IWU is set to host Elmhurst University, Saturday, April 20 for the Titans Senior Day. Game time is set for 1 p.m. inside Tucci Stadium.
